Eltham Collegians join the NFNL

The Northern Football Netball League continues to grow with the Eltham Collegians Football Club joining the league.

At a league special general meeting, the Turtles presented their position in wanting to play in the NFNL next season.

The majority of the NFNL’s member clubs voted in favour of the Turtled decision to join the league.

The Turtles will play in the division 3 competition, meaning the division will remain at nine teams with St Mary’s earning promotion after winning the division 3 premiership. There is no relegation from division 2 this year.

Eltham Collegians had been playing in the Victorian Amateur Football League. The Turtles finished 10th this year with just one win.

AFL Victoria has ratified Eltham Collegians transfer of leagues.
