VTCA: Greenvale, Tullamarine lose to Beaumaris, Strathmore

Greenvale and Tullamarine both struggled with the bat as they lost their matches in the Victorian Turf Cricket Association’s senior division on Saturday.

Chasing 290, the Kangaroos started the day against Beaumaris at 0-8 but a lack of serious partnerships saw them slump to 5-59.

The lower order provided some resistance, but the Kangaroos succumbed for 147.
