Hume City remains fifth on the ladder in the National Premier League despite a 2-0 loss away at Heidelberg United on Sunday night.
Coming off a great win against second-placed Oakleigh Cannons the previous week, City wasn’t able to replicate that against the third-placed United.
There was no score in the first half and Heidelberg took the lead nine minutes into the second half through a controversial penalty. The second goal came in the 77th minute.
City faces bottom-of-the-table Goulburn Valley Suns in Shepparton this week.
