In the North B2 grade, Glenroy’s total of 116 was nowhere near enough for victory, as Avondale Heights blitzed their way to 4/212.
A 155-run opening stand between Raghbir Singh (82) and Kuldeep Singh (68) ensured Avondale Heights took total control.
Ben Coote was dangerous with the ball for Glenroy, sending down 12 overs and taking 2/53, while Anthony Vernali, bought on late, took 1/8 from two.
