VSDCA: Plenty Valley suffers first loss of the season

Plenty Valley’s second XI trudged back to the clubroom’s with heads bowed after a loss against to Coburg, their first of the season.

The Bats posted 249 on day one, led by Simon Bray’s 95, but could take only four wickets as Coburg romped to victory.

Half-centuries to skipper Bruce Wallace (66), Jacob Austin (69) and Grant Puxley (55 not out) helped the Burgers over the line.
