Premier Cricket: Greenvale Kangaroos debut

Victorian Premier Cricket is coming to the Hume region as Greenvale Kangaroos make their home debut at Greenvale Recreation Reserve on Saturday.

The Kangaroos — a merger of Greenvale and Premier Cricket club North Melbourne and coached by Steve Maddocks — will play Prahran in the opening round. Essendon plays Carlton at Princes Park in its opener. All matches are one-dayers.

In women’s premier cricket, Plenty Valley starts its season in a one-dayer against Essendon Maribyrnong Park at AK Line Reserve on Sunday.
