WPL: Bundoora United wins two in four days

BUNDOORA United’s push for second spot on the FFV Women’s Premier League table continued with two wins in four days.

A 4-0 Wednesday night win against Cairnlea was followed by a 3-1 win over EAP on Saturday.

EAP led 1-0 before Caitlin Friend and Gulcan Koca swept Bundoora
to the lead early in the second half. Friend sealed the win with her
second in the 73rd minute.

Koca was joined by Tyla Vlajnic, Stefanie Oddo and Stephanie Galea on the scoresheet in Wednesday night’s 4-0 win.

The results put Bundoora United fourth with 36 points, four behind second-placed Sandringham with a game in hand.
