WorkSafe are investigating the death of a worker at a Broadmeadows recycling centre on Friday.
The 26-year-old man died after being struck by an articulated front-end loader while it was moving recycled goods at about 9.45am.
This was the 24th confirmed work-related death this year compared to 47 at the same time last year.
