Woman hospitalised following Mill Park house fire

A woman has been taken to hospital following a house fire in Mill Park.

Firefighters were called to the Westleigh Court house about 3am on September 12.

Members of the public helped the woman to evacuate the house before Fire Rescue Victoria crews arrived.

She was treated by Ambulance Victoria and taken to hospital.

The fire was declared under control at 4am.

The house which was completely engulfed in flames has been extensively damaged.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined but will be investigated.
