A 19-year-old Wollert woman has been charged with reckless conduct endangering life after allegedly being caught speeding in excess of 140km/h.
Police allege the woman was driving a blue Mazda with five occupants that was racing a white sedan on Citylink about 1.15am on Sunday, July 10.
Police stopped the Mazda on the M80 Ring Road in Thomastown and arrested the P-plate driver.
The car was seized and an application for forfeiture will be made at court, police said.
The woman was bailed to appear at Broadmeadows Magistrates Court on December 13.
