Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding damage caused at the Fawkner Cemetery earlier this month.
Investigators have been told unknown offenders damaged up to 80 cemetery plots between Friday, November 5, and Saturday, November 6.
Police said they do not believe the damage is prejudice motivated, targeted or religious based.
