Ten Melbourne lottery players are no longer battling the Monday blues after their syndicate entry scored them a division one prize of more than $1.8 million.
The group syndicate, which was set up at Craigieburn’s Highlands News & Lotto, was one of 11 division one winning entries nationally in Saturday’s TattsLotto draw.
The group’s syndicate system entry also won division three 12 times and division four 15 times.
Shares in the syndicate were sold at Highlands News & Lotto, Thomastown News & Lotto, Chadstone Newsagency and Spring Hill News in Cranbourne.
Each member of the syndicate will receive $183, 289.
Highlands News & Lotto manager Kevin Ung said he was thrilled for the winning customers.
“How exciting for the winner. I will be celebrating this win and sharing the wonderful news with all of my customers,” he said.
“Last week I had a feeling good fortune was on the way for our outlet, and how true that feeling was.
“I feel privileged to have set up a syndicate that scored division one and made so many winners happy.
“Nothing else compares to selling someone a division one winning ticket.”
The Lott spokesperson Ally Ramsamy said some members of the winning syndicate held unregistered entries and might have yet to discover their winning news.
“What a great way to start your working week – discovering you’ve pocketed more than $180,000, she said.
“While we’ll be reaching out to those syndicate members who registered their entry to their Tatts Cards, there are several syndicate members who have unregistered entries and may not yet know they’re part of this winning group.
“If you purchased a share in a syndicate for the weekend’s TattsLotto $20 Million Superdraw, today’s the day to check it.”
