The Whittlesea community is set to enjoy a bumper weekend of back-to-back events with the Plenty Ranges Arts and Convention Centre (PRACC) hosting the Otto & Astrid – Joint Solo Project and the return of the Whittlesea Community Festival.
On Saturday, March 18, Berlin’s Prince and Princess of art rock and Europop, Otto and Astrid will take to the stage at PRACC.
On tour for their Joint Solo Project, the utterly dysfunctional siblings are set to bring their riotous and razor-sharp satire of culture wars to South Morang.
The next day, Whittlesea will welcome back its community festival which will feature theatre, music, circus, dance, workshops and more.
There will be lots of free entertainment and activities for the whole family.
The salon tent has been highlighted as a very special destination for the festival in celebration of Cultural Diversity Week.
The Salon features a number of free activities including detailed African braiding, hand painted henna, saree clothing workshop and a high energy Arabic drumming workshop on darbuka drums.
