Two men have have been killed during a fight at a Westmeadows party on Saturday night.
Police are investigating the circumstances behind the two deaths at the Pascoe Street house party.
Senior Constable Adam West said police have been told that a man arrived at the party about 7.30pm and was involved in fight with a man and a woman.
“The altercation turned physical and both men suffered life threatening injuries,” he said.
Ambulance Victoria spokesman John Mullen told Fairfax media that they were called to the scene just after 7.30pm.
“We were originally called to an assault,” Mr Mullen said.
A woman was transported to the Royal Melbourne hospital in a serious but stable condition.
