We’re going on a treasure hunt in Whittlesea.

Whittlesea council is running a Super Kids Festival from October 24 to November 1 as part of Children’s Week.

There are prizes to be won for taking part in the treasure hunt quest, with many different things to find and do.

The treasure hunt will see children exploring parks across the municipality, with quest tasks that can be completed at any time.

Ten participants will win a child-friendly hamper.

As part of the quest, there will be free drinks or treats along with live music and roving performers on October 31 and November 1 at activated parks in the municipality.

The parks are Hilltop Park, Doreen; Lyndarum Park, Epping North; Main Street Field, Thomastown; Mernda Adventure Park, Mernda; Norris Bank Reserve, Bundoora; Redleap Reserve, Mill Park; and Willow Park, Whittlesea.

There will also be artworks at the parks.

Quest sheets are available by post (call 9217 2174) from your child’s school, local library, shopping centre office or downloaded online at arts.whittlesea.vic.gov.au.
