Join the Merri Creek Management Committee for a weeding day along Merri Creek next week.
The Woody Weeding day is part of the committee’s Grasslands of Galada Tamboore Project.
Participants will help liberated the grassland’s stony knolls from woody weeds.
People are encouraged to park in Merri Concourse, Campbellfield, and walk east to Merri Creek, or park in Whittlesea Gardens, Lalor, and walk across the bridge over the freeway.
It’s on Saturday, August 6, from 10am-noon.
Participants over 12 years old must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
