Two people have died following a single vehicle crash in Thomastown on Sunday morning.
Emergency services were called to Victoria Drive where a car had collided into a power pole about 7.20am.
The driver, a 42-year-old Roxburgh Park man sustained life threatening injuries and later died in hospital.
The passenger, a 42-year-old woman, died at the scene.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, urging anyone with dash-cam footage or information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
