Victoria Police charge six teens over Reservoir death

Two Meadow Heights teenagers have been charged with murder over the death of a 16-year-old boy in Reservoir earlier this month.

The boys, aged 14 and 13, were among seven people arrested by on Wednesday, March 23, over the incident on Sunday, March 13.

A 17-year-old Taylors Hill boy, a 17-year-old Tarneit boy, a 15-year-old Hoppers Crossing boy and a 16-year-old Yarraville boy have all also been charged with murder.

They are all expected to face a children’s court on Thursday, March 24.

A 17-year-old Clifton Hill girl has been released pending further inquiries, police said.

The arrests follow the death of Declan Cutler after he was allegedly assaulted and stabbed.

Declan was treated by paramedics and police, but died at the scene.

The investigation remains ongoing and police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to come forward to police.
