Two charged after large seizure of power tools

A Mill Park man is one of two people charged over the alleged theft of power tools

Police said investigators executed a search warrant at an address in Grevillia Drive, Mill Park, on Friday about 11.15am and located more than $20,000 worth of alleged stolen power tools, drugs, vehicle registration plates and credit cards.

Two people were arrested.

Investigators also executed warrants on two apartments at a complex on Burwood Highway, Burwood East, locating further alleged stolen power tools, mail and lego, police said.

A 24-year-old Mill Park man was charged with various offences including thefts, handling stolen goods, possessing drugs of dependence, dealing with property that is suspected proceeds of crime, and bail offences.

A 32-year-old Burwood East man was charged with theft and committing an indictable offence whilst on bail.

He was bailed to appear at the Ringwood Magistrates Court on February 10, 2022.
