Traffic disruptions in the north this weekend

Traffic in Melbourne’s north will be disrupted this weekend, as works for the M80 upgrade are undertaken.

A number of detours are advised for travellers to avoid the works.

The M80 Ring Road Altona-bound entry ramp to the Hume Freeway will be closed from 9pm tonight until 5am Monday, November 8.

A detour will be available via Hume Highway and Cooper Street.

The Sydney Road entry ramp to the M80 Ring Road, Greensborough-bound will be closed from 9pm tonight until 5am Monday, November 8.

Detours will be accessible via the Hume Highway, Mahoneys Road, Cooper Street and Edgars Road.

The M80 Ring Road, Greensborough-bound will be closed between Edgars Road and Dalton Road overnight from 10pm Sunday, November 7 until 5am Monday, November 8 for a gantry installation.

A detour is advised via Mahoneys Road and Edgars Road or Hume Highway and Cooper Street.

The Edgars Road entry ramp to the M80 Ring Road Altona-bound is closed until early December.

Drivers can detour via Mahoneys Road or Edgars Road.
