The Whittlesea Show takes place this weekend, boasting two fun filled days for the whole family to enjoy.
Whittlesea Council is a major sponsor of the 164th edition of the Show.
Acting administrator Peita Duncan said council was pleased to be supporting this community tradition again this year as a sponsor.
“The Whittlesea Agricultural Society is one of the oldest agricultural societies in Victoria and the two-day annual show is a highlight in the local calendar,” she said.
“Not only will it showcase agriculture, farming and rural knowledge to the wider community, this year’s show offers attractions and activities for everyone.
Ms Duncan said she was proud to be involved with the event and commended all volunteers and workers for organising the show for the whole of Whittlesea to enjoy.
This year’s Whittlesea Show will feature an exciting line-up of activities, including Eroni’s Circus, Stilt Divas, roving performers, show jumping, wood chopping, and more.
There will be a food expo packed full of local produce, and a Heritage Pavilion where historic farming practices and blacksmith demonstrations can be found.
The Whittlesea Show is on November 4 and 5 from 9am until 5pm at the Whittlesea Showgrounds, Yea Road, Whittlesea.
