Doreen’s St Paul the Apostle Catholic Primary School celebrated its 10th anniversary with a community celebration on Friday 24 October.
The event kicked off with formalities between 2 and 3pm and was followed by an afternoon of festivities for parents, families and friends.
Guests enjoyed food trucks, entertainment, raffles, giveaways and a special “Avenue of Reflection” which showcased the school’s growth and achievements over the past decade.
Parent and committee member Susan Kruk headed the celebrations and said the celebration was a testament to the strong sense of community that defined the school.
“The beautiful thing about St Paul’s is that nothing happens without student input,” she said.
“Not only do we have two student representatives on our committee, but these two students have run their own internal meetings to develop ideas for the event, design the invitation, and develop a reflection video, among other things.”
The event served as a joyful showcase of faith, creativity and community spirit, a fitting tribute to 10 years of learning and growth for the school in Doreen.
