Four teenagers have been arrested following a series of alleged incidents, including attempted carjackings and an affray, in a busy shopping centre car-park in Epping on Sunday, May 18.
Police were called to t the car-park off High Street about 11am, with multiple victims allegedly threatened with knives.
A 15-year-old boy from Ballarat has been remanded in custody and charged with offences including aggravated carjacking, affray and assault with a weapon.
A 15-year-old girl from Darebin was also charged with similar offences and bailed to appear in a children’s court.
Police allege a group of teens confronted several victims.
In one incident, a person was slashed with a knife and sustained a minor injury.
In another, a passenger was pulled from a car by their hair and assaulted.
A separate victim was threatened at knife-point, but the offenders were unable to steal her car after realising it was manual.
Two others, a 13-year-old girl from Yarra and a 16-year-old boy from Melton, were also arrested and are expected to be charged on summons.
