Teenager caught driving twice the speed limit

A 19-year-old has had his motorcycle impounded after he was caught speeding in Gladstone Park on Friday, February 4.

At 9.40pm, police witnessed the black bike travelling 163km/h in an 80km/h zone.

The teenage driver from Flemington is expected to be charged on summons with dangerous speeding, as well as other offences.

The bike will be impounded for 30 days, along with a $878.50 fee for towing.
