Police arrested a 17-year-old boy last weekend after he was spotted riding an unregistered dirt bike in Craigieburn and Roxburgh Park.
Police said the teen was arrested after allegedly attempting to evade police. His bike was seized and impounded.
In a statement on the Eyewatch- Hume Police Service Area Facebook page, Craigieburn police said they are aware of the ongoing issue of dangerous dirt bike riding in Hume and said the behaviour is placing the community at risk.
