A teenager has been arrested by police following an affray outside a secondary school in Greenvale.
Police said the arrest follows an incident where a group of five people attended outside a school campus on Glencairn Drive about 3.10pm on Wednesday 8 October.
The group approached several students before a scuffle broke out, according to police.
Two students sustained minor injuries not requiring treatment.
Police said the group then fled in a vehicle.
A 16-year-old girl from the Whittlesea area tended a police station on Wednesday night and was interviewed by police in relation to attempted armed robbery and affray.
She was released pending summons.
Investigators believe the incident was targeted and the investigation remains ongoing.
Officers are appealing for anyone who may have filmed vision of the incident to please come forward.
