Two men have been arrested following an aggravated home invasion in St Albans in the early hours of Tuesday, June 10.
Police were called to the Fox Street address shortly after 1.10am, following reports a number of people had gained access to a property and discharged a firearm.
None of the seven people inside the property at the time were physically injured and police believe the incident was targeted.
A search of the area was conducted with the firearm being seized by investigators.
Armed crime squad detectives charged a 55-year old Craigieburn man on several home invasion and firearm offences as well as one drug offence.
The man made no application for bail and was remanded to next appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court in July, 2026.
A 29-year-old Altona Meadows man was charged with one drug offence and bailed to appear at Sunshine Magistrates’ Court in October.
