If you have a desire to discover magical wildflowers, Grasslands of Galada Tamboore in Thomastown is the perfect place to experience a spectacular display of Australian wildflowers.
Merri Creek Management Committee will host a wildflower tour on Sunday, November 6 for people to learn about the local native plants of the Galada Tamboore Grassland.
The event will involve a wildflower walk with Merri Creek Management Committee and a talk with pollinator expert Katrina Forstner from Buzz and Dig.
The wildflower tour will take place between 10am and noon.
Merri Creek Management Committee said the grassland and its wildflowers are a precious remnant of native grasslands which were once widespread across Melbourne but are now endangered as a result of urbanisation and agricultural changes.
