Public transport users in Craigieburn and Donnybrook will soon have more options for travel, with a shuttle bus to operate between the suburbs.
Public Transport Minister Ben Carroll recently announced the service as part $109 million state budget boost for bus services.
“The new shuttle bus will ensure locals have easy access to shops, employment, health services and train services,” he said.
Mr Carroll said the upgrades would meet demand and improve accessibility and performance.
“We’re creating a safer and more accessible public transport network to keep every Victorian connected with family, friends, jobs and schools,” Mr Carroll said.
“As we do that, we’re investing in a record pipeline of new trains and trams that are made in Victoria, by Victorians – supporting thousands of local jobs every year.”
