Shots fired at Craigieburn house

Police are investigating following a drive by shooting in Craigieburn in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Police were called to the Excelsior Heights home after the occupants of the home were woken by the incident about 12.10am.

It is believed a number of shots were fired towards the home causing extensive damage to the front of the residence.

A man and woman, aged in their 50s, at home at the time weren’t injured.

Police will investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
