Share the Dignity with Whittlesea this March

Whittlesea council will be participating in Share the Dignity’s, Dignity Drive for the month of March.

For two months of the year, in March and August, Share the Dignity collects and distributes period products to all those who menstruate experiencing homelessness, poverty, or domestic violence.

Whittlesea council said it is proud to be participating in Share the Dignity’s drive this March, and is encouraging residents to donate period products such as pads, tampons, maternity pads, period undies, menstrual cups, and incontinence products in the bid to end period poverty.

To donate, residents can drop off period products at designated collection points across Whittlesea:

– Civic Centre office, 25 Ferres Boulevard, South Morang

– Greenbrook Community House, 40 McFarlane Cres, Epping

– Galada Community Centre, 10A Forum Way, Epping

– Ganbu Gulinj Community Centre, 55 Macedon Parade, Wollert

– Riverside Community Centre, 8 Doreen Rogen Way, South Morang

– Whittlesea Community Activity Centre, 57/61 Laurel St, Whittlesea.

All donated products are requested to be in their original packaging to ensure that they can be distributed safely and effectively.
