Shaded learning spaces incoming

New shaded outdoor learning spaces are coming to Whittlesea Primary, thanks to a cash splash from the state government.

In a post to her Facebook page, Yan Yean MP Danielle Green announced that works will soon commence on the new spaces for the primary school’s pupils, which will facilitate learning outside.

“This is just one of the measures we’re taking to make our schools as safe as possible for Victorian students,” Ms Green said in the post.

The project is funded by the Victorian government’s School Shade Sails Fund – a $190 million investment designed to support ventilation and outdoor learning in the state’s schools.
