Series of summer fun in Whittlesea

Whittlesea council’s series of summer fun activities has officially launched.

The program, called Summer Series ‘22, will feature music in public places across the municipality.

Each event is free for families and friends to attend, however proof of vaccination will be required at select venues.

According to the council, attendees can bring their own picnic, or purchase food and drink from food trucks.

The next upcoming event will be on Wednesday, January 19 from 5pm to 8pm at Gumnut Park on Olivine Boulevard, Donnybrook.

Laurimar Town Centre on Hazel Glen Drive, Doreen, will host the following event on Friday, January 21 from 5pm to 9pm.

The next event will be on Friday, February 4 at Church Street Park, on Church Street, Whittlesea from 5pm to 9pm.

Aurora Village at 315 Harvest Home Road, Epping will host an event on Sunday, February 6 from 12pm to 3pm.at

The Summer Series ‘22 will wrap up at the new Laurimar Park makers market, corner of Hazel Glen Drive and Flaxen Hills Road on Friday, February 18.

The event will run from 5pm to 8pm.
