Police will search a second area of parkland today as part of the ongoing investigation into the disappearance of missing Epping woman Ju “Kelly” Zhang.

Missing Persons Squad detectives will search an area around Sparkes Reserve and Napier Waller Reserve this afternoon.

Police earlier today searched an area of bushland and Darebin Creek west of Sheehan Road in Heidelberg West.

The Search and Rescue Squad, Dog Squad and Public Order Response Team will also assist in the search.

The search follows an appeal from police for an anonymous caller to Crime Stoppers, who provided details about Ju’s location, to make contact again.

Ju was last seen at her home on Winchester Avenue in Epping on Monday, February 1 at 5.30pm. The 33-year-old was believed to be wearing a pink nightgown and possibly pink slippers.

A 35-year-old Doncaster man has been charged with one count of murder.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Anyone with information about Ju’s disappearance is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential online report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
