Whittlesea council will be running a range of free activities and events for children and teenagers this winter school holidays.
Victorian public schools will finish term two on June 23, and will commence term third on July 10.
During the two week holidays the council will host a range of programs.
The council is booking out an entire cinema for young people to watch the new Spiderman movie on June 26.
A cooking session will be held on June 29 in Mernda for young people wanting to learn their way around the kitchen.
There will be a clothing ‘upcycle’ workshop held on June 30 in Donnybrook for young people to get creative, reduce waste, and leave with a new piece of clothing.
In the second week of holidays, roller skating and basketball sessions will be available as well.
Whittlesea’s Baseline for Young People programs will continue throughout the school break.
