The Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) is reminding voters to update their enrolment details by 8pm, November 8 ahead of the state election on November 26.

If residents, including those in Hume and Whittlesea, have changed address or name since the federal election in May, details will need to be updated.

If details have not changed, residents are able to vote. Voting locations will be listed on the VEC website from Wednesday, November 2. Candidates will be listed as they nominate from November 2.

The VEC is also reminding residents that electoral boundaries are changing on Tuesday, November 1, affecting up to one million people.

“This means that you may be enrolled in a new electorate, even if you haven’t changed address,” VEC says.
