Police are appealing for help to identify two men following thefts and deceptions in the northern suburbs last month.
Investigators have been told that credit cards stolen from vehicles in Wollert were used in deceptions totalling about $2400 at various stores in Campbellfield, Thomastown, Epping, Mill Park, Coburg and Fawkner between Wednesday, November 10, and Monday, November 15.
Whittlesea Criminal Investigation Unit detectives have released images and CCTV of two men they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.
The first man is perceived to be Indian Sub-Continental in appearance, in his mid to late 20s with a thin build.
He was wearing a red ‘LA’ cap, yellow fluorescent top, white face mask, light blue pants and black shoes.
The second man is perceived to be Indian Sub-Continental in appearance, in his early 30s with a medium build.
He was wearing a red cap, red top, black jacket, black face mask, dark blue pants and tan-coloured shoes.
Police have also released an image and CCTV of a vehicle.
The vehicle is an older style white Ford Falcon sedan with distinctive wheels.
