Police are investigating after a woman was located deceased in South Morang on Monday morning.
Emergency services were called to a residential property on Reid Street about 10am.
The woman, who is yet to formally identified, was declared deceased at the scene.
The exact circumstances surrounding her death are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.
Police arrested a 33-year-old South Morang man who will be interviewed in relation to the incident.
It is believed both parties are known to each other.
