Police investigate shooting and crash

Detectives are investigating a collision and shooting in Epping on Monday, September 1.

Emergency services were called to the Hume freeway exit and Cooper Street about 9.30pm after reports of a car and truck colliding.

A 23-year-old-man who was inside the car was taken to hospital with serious gunshot injuries, while an 18-year-old woman from the same vehicle was transported with life-threatening injuries caused by the crash.
