Police are investigating the cause of a fire at a house in Jacana overnight.
Emergency services will called to the Pascoe Vale Road house just before midnight.
Police said the fire started at the front door of the house and spread to the roof.
Two men were asleep inside the house and the time and were woken by the noise.
They managed to escape the house without any injuries.
Police said a crime scene guard was at the house overnight.
An arson chemist is expected to examine the site this morning to determine the cause of the fire.
