UPDATE: Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Broadmeadows man Nasser El Kheir.
Investigators wish to speak to the 54-year-old in relation to a shooting in Broadmeadows on Tuesday (June 19).
It is believed a man fired two shots inside a café on Olsen Place about 10.30pm, following an altercation between a number of people. No one was injured during the incident.
Police have released an image of El Kheir in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information on his whereabouts.
He is described as tall with a solid build, grey beard and is balding. He known to frequent the Broadmeadows area.
Anyone who sights El Kheir is warned not to approach him, but instead to contact triple-0 immediately.
Police are urging anyone with information on El Kheir’s whereabouts to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
