Planned burn-offs in Whittlesea council

The Country Fire Authority and Fire Management Victoria will be conducting planned burns across the Whittlesea municipality and neighbouring areas.

Residents may see smoke and flames, and some roads and tracks may be closed.

Firefighting vehicles, aircraft and crews will be in the area.

Whittlesea council is asking residents to be aware of the planned burns happening in their area and to stay clear of areas where burns are taking place or areas that have recently been burnt.

Planned burns will take place this week in, Latrobe Road in Yarrambat, Harmony Hill in Mernda and Glenburnie Road in Whittlesea
