It’s never been easier to bring home a furry friend thanks to the Wat Djerring Animal Facility offering half-price dog and puppy adoptions for a limited time.
The special offer aims to ensure every dog has its day, while helping more residents connect with a furry friend and experience the joy of pet ownership.
All dogs adopted through the facility are health-checked, vaccinated, microchipped, and desexed, giving families peace of mind their new companion is ready for a smooth transition into their home.
The team at Wat Djerring also prides itself on carefully matching pets with owners to ensure the best fit for both lifestyle and household.
Whittlesea council acting chief executive Debbie Wood encouraged residents to take up the opportunity.
“This is the perfect excuse to finally bring home the dog you’ve been dreaming about,” Ms Wood said.
“There’s nothing quite like the unconditional love and loyalty of a rescue dog, and now you can experience it for half the cost.”
Ms Wood said the adoptions were not only life-changing for the dogs but also helped strengthen the community.
“Adopting from our local animal facility is a win for everyone; it gives a dog a second chance, brings joy to a household, and supports responsible pet ownership in our community.”
The Wat Djerring Animal Facility is located at 20 Companion Place in Epping and is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am to 4pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 12 to 6.30pm and Saturday from 11am through to 3pm.
