One additional COVID-19 case has been connected to the City of Hume outbreak.

The case was identified as a close household contact of previous cases in the cluster.

Victoria recorded 10 new locally acquired cases of the virus today, and COVID-19 response commander Jeroen Weimar confirmed all were in quarantine for the entirety of their infectious period.

Premier Daniel Andrews announced the lifting of the state’s lockdown from 11.59pm tonight following the decline of new locally acquired cases recorded daily.

More to come.
