Movie afternoon

Baseline for Young People have booked out a whole cinema to watch the movie ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’. The movie is rated PG, and the screening will take place on Tuesday, January 25 from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. $7.50 for entry, including a small drink and popcorn at Village Cinemas, Plenty Valley at 415 McDonalds Road, Mill Park.

Foster care info session

Ever thought about becoming a foster carer? On Thursday, January 27 from 6.30pm to 7.30pm, Anglicare Vic is running a free information session. Registration can be completed via email.

Detox your home

Have a stash of unwanted household chemicals you need to get rid of? Items such as cleaning products, pool chemicals and weed killer should not be put in your rubbish bins or poured down the drain. You can safely dispose of these items at this free, drive-through Detox your Home drop off event on Saturday, February 5 between 9am and 1pm.

A New Page

Join artist Annie Bolitho in making a small book as a way to mark the start of 2022, and gift it to a loved one. The free activity will run on Saturday, January 15 from 11am to 12.30pm. The books will incorporate organic elements and celebrate life and the importance of connection. Materials and light refreshments will be provided.
