The National Gallery of Victoria’s (NGV) Kids on Tour program has arrived in Hume and Whittlesea, with a number of free art workshops for young people.

This year’s theme for Kids on Tour is ‘Let’s Make Art’ and it shares popular activities from the 2022 NGV Kids exhibition, Making Art: Imagine Everything is Real, which celebrates the work of influential 20th century artists, as well as local artists.

NGV youth and families co-ordinator Stephanie Pohlman said NGV Kids on Tour is a “really important” part of the annual NGV Kids program.

“It reinforces the gallery’s commitment to provide opportunities to communities across Victoria to connect with each other and connect with the gallery through art,” she said.
