Visitors of Livvi’s Place at Craigieburn ANZAC Park can now enjoy a new water play space, thanks to a cash splash from the state government.
Livvi’s Place is an accessible play space developed in partnership with the Touched by Olivia Foundation.
The new water play space is courtesy of funding from the Victorian government.
Yuroke MP Ros Spence said the new space was welcome ahead of the warmer weather.
“This great new water play space will mean more kids can enjoy the great outdoors especially as the weather warms up,” Ms Spence said.
“The Andrews Labor Government funded this project to help more kids access water play spaces.
“This will help local kids stay active and healthy and I’ll fight for even more water play spaces right across our community.”
Hume councillor Joseph Haweil said in a post to his Facebook page: “I know this will be a much utilised new play space for our growing community.”
Livvi’s Place is a fully fenced play space, designed so that children of all ages and abilities can make the most out of the equipment.
Livvi’s Place can be found on the corner of Aitken Boulevard and Central Park Avenue, Craigieburn.
