Mystery COVID-19 case formally linked to Coolaroo cluster

A mystery COVID-19 case uncovered in Roxburgh Park yesterday has been formally linked to the Coolaroo cluster.

Chief health officer Brett Sutton announced the link to the cluster, previously known as the City of Hume cluster, this morning.

Twenty-two locally acquired cases of COVID-19 reported today.

Professor Sutton said “there is much to be hopeful for” as 16 of the new cases had been in isolation for the entirety of their infectious period.
