Music journey starts early

At just 12 years old, Kristina Bogic has released her first single.

The young Point Cook resident said that she started singing at the age of four and playing piano at age eight. At nine, she penned her first song.

“I love being on stage and singing in front of people, I get a real rush when the lights come on and the audience is quiet, waiting for you to start,” Kristina said.

Kristina said it felt both surreal and exciting to release her first single, titled Learn my Limits, produced by Michael Kroll.

“I wrote Learn my Limits when I was being bullied at school,” she said. “It was a really tough time for me and writing this song has helped me to express myself.”

Kristina said she first performed Learn my Limits at last year’s Wyndham Rising Stars Competition, which she ended up winning.

“I won an artist development recording package through Universal School of Music,” Kristina said.

Apart from music, Kristina also trained as a state swimmer and dreamed of swimming at the Olympics, but was forced to quit due to a shoulder injury.

Learn my Limits is streaming on Spotify, Apple, Sound Cloud, Amazon Prime and Google Play. See @_kristinabogic_on Instagram for details.
