Multiple COVID-19 exposure sites in Hume, Whittlesea

Multiple COVID-19 exposure sites in the Hume and Whittlesea areas were listed over the weekend, including three tier one sites.

The health department has identified Broadmeadows Aquatic and Leisure Centre, Woolworths Greenvale Lakes in Roxburgh Park, and Irabina Autism Services on Plenty Road, Bundoora as tier one exposure sites.

The health department said anyone who visited any of the sites on the listed dates and times is required to get tested immediately and quarantine for 14 days:

– Broadmeadows Aquatic and Leisure Centre on Thursday, August 5 between 5.45pm and 7.15pm;

– Woolworths Greenvale Lakes on Sunday, August 8 between 12.52pm and 1.39pm, and on Thursday, August 12 between 12.15pm and 1.05pm; and

– Irabina Autism Services on Tuesday, August 10 between 8.15am and 5.30pm, and on Wednesday, August 11 between 8.15am and 5.30pm.

The health department has listed multiple tier two exposure sites, and said anyone who attended the below sites within the listed dates and times is required to get tested urgently and isolate until receiving a negative result:

– Kmart at Broadmeadows Central on Wednesday, August 4 between 4pm and 4.45pm;

– RedBook Inspect Tullamarine on Saturday, August 7 between 9.13am and 9.33am;

– Meadow Heights Shopping Centre on Saturday, August 7 between 1pm and 1.45pm;

– Zet&Zaatar Bakery on James Mirams Drive in Roxburgh Park on Sunday, August 8 between 12.49pm and 1.40pm and on Thursday, August 12 between 12.35pm and 1.15pm;

– Shell Coles Express Bundoora, corner of Plenty Road and Greenhills Road, on Monday, August 9 between 5.40pm and 6.17pm;

– KFC Broadmeadows on Pascoe Vale Road on Tuesday, August 10 between 7am and 12.30pm;

– Sushi Hub at Broadmeadows Central on Tuesday, August 10 between 11.30am and 11.50am;

– Chatime at Broadmeadows Central on Tuesday, August 10 between 11.30am and 11.50am;

– Nandos at Broadmeadows Central on Tuesday, August 10 between 11.40am and 12.10pm;

– KFC Tullamarine on Melrose Drive on Tuesday, August 10 between 12.20pm and 12.30pm;

– McDonalds Tullamarine on Mickleham Road on Tuesday, August 10 between 12.10pm and 12.20pm; and

– Coles Express South Morang on Plenty Road on Tuesday, August 10 between 10am and 10.30am, and on Wednesday, August 11 between 10am and 10.30am.

The health department has also identified Broadmeadows Central as a tier three exposure site.

The department said anyone who visited the site on Tuesday August 10 between 11.30am and 12pm should monitor for symptoms.
